In New York City, New
York - Smith Electric Vehicles Corp., a manufacturer
of all-electric vehicles, with its headquarters located in Kansas,
Missouri, will add another
facility in New York City. The said
facility will manufacture the zero emission Newton,
a medium duty truck with a 150-mile range. The new facility will begin its
production in 2012 and is expected to create up to 100 jobs.
